The Road to Reconciliation

The Road to Reconciliationis an artwork that is the result of an open, combined effort on the part of the victims of sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic church, the diocese of Roermond, and the initiating artist, Pierre Habets. What connects them is a bronze work of art that was unveiled and blessed at De Kartuis municipal park in Roermond, the Netherlands, on 21 April 2017.

All those involved hope that many will derive comfort from this symbolic artwork and memorial.
